With 23 years of experience as a certified skin specialist, my world has always revolved around skin health. Initially, my focus was purely professional—developing a high-end skincare line for my clients. However, everything changed when I welcomed my son.
Suddenly, I wasn't just looking at skin through a clinical lens; I was a mum looking for the gentlest way to care for my baby. I quickly realised I wanted to move away from the chemical-heavy world of harsh wet wipes, but the alternatives I found were far from practical.
Every parent knows the struggle of the "overpacked" bag. During the height of the teething phase, I found myself constantly needing a clean cloth, but I was tired of lugging around massive, bulky muslin squares that took up half the pram.
Whether we were out for a quick walk or a long day out, those giant cloths felt like more of a burden than a help.
More importantly, as a specialist, I knew that a baby’s skin is up to 30% thinner than an adult's, making it incredibly delicate and prone to irritation. Using rougher fabrics or wipes loaded with preservatives on such a fragile barrier just wasn't an option for me. I needed something small, portable, and professional-grade that respected that delicate skin—and when I couldn't find it, I created the Mini Muslin. It’s the first product in our collection and remains the one thing our busy family cannot be without, even now that my son is a toddler.
It has been so heartening to see that what started as a personal solution for my son has resonated with so many other parents. We are truly touched that other families love these cloths as much as we do.
